These soaps will make you feel  like you are in a spa. In this class, Ginger Stoops will teach you how to make your own cold-processed soap using an easy recipe that uses simple ingredients. These soap bars have a wonderful, clean feel and excellent lather. They are made with olive oil and coconut oil, natural clays, and natural micas for color. Ginger will teach you to create these beautiful herbal soaps topped with rosemary and lemon verbena to give it a little exfoliating power.

In this class, you will take home three – four bars of your own creation, depending on the mold you choose. You will make the soaps in class, and can then pick them up in a few days after they are ready to unmold. All materials and equipment are provided for making soap.

This class is for adults only due to working with lye, which can cause severe burns if not handled properly. Please wear clothing that is appropriate for messy projects and closed-toed shoes.
