DESCRIPTION:I have been back in the soap lab again\, and I have to share this one with you! I was looking for a more natural alternative to my favorite grease-fighting dishwashing detergents. I looked at several recipes and did not like them\, so I created my own\, and it works! I have used this soap on pans with tough stains\, and they came off so that they looked like new. This soap is lathery but  does not lather as much as commercial soaps. We all know that lather is just for looks and is not what does the cleaning. The bottom line is that it works! \nThis soap can be bare bones with no scents or colors\, but I will have a selection of plant-based scents and natural clays to add if you like. \nIn this class\, you will take home three bars of your own dish soap. They will create a snowman character and build a world that tells a story about him/her. It will introduce the concepts of the visual arts as storytelling. In the end\, each child will get to share their character and the story behind it. It promises to be fun for everyone! \nA variety of materials will be available to help with the kids creations. The picture is only an example of what they might create when they let their imaginations run wild. \nParents can either drop off your child and return at the end of class or stay and join in on the fun.\nAll materials provided.

You will make the soaps in class\, and can then pick them up in a few days after they are ready to unmold. All materials and equipment are provided for making soap. \nThis class is for adults only due to working with lye\, which can cause severe burns if not handled properly.
